The Governor's Academy is an independent, college preparatory school for students in grades 9 through 12 on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

ACADEMICS
Our rigorous college preparatory curriculum fosters intellectual and personal growth, fluency across disciplines, and a flexible, forward-thinking approach focused on sustainability. Our approach to academics balances the opportunity to achieve with the courage to explore. Students here learn together with friends and faculty in small, interactive classes.
ATHLETICS
Our athletes play for championship titles in one of the most competitive athletic conferences in the United States, the Independent School League (ISL). We have over 50 interscholastic and recreational teams, where students play in and on many first-class facilities with some of the very best athletes in Massachusetts.
ARTS
The arts are woven into every aspect of our students’ independent school experience. Most of our students are involved in the arts—whether that means taking AP Studio Art, playing the piano in Friday Morning Meeting band, running the lighting for Fall Drama, dancing, or making a print during open studio on a Saturday night.
